Director

Functions of the Director of ICT include:

• Initiate development processes with members of the ICT unit and Computer and Information Sciences Department.
• Support the development and enforcement of ICT standards, policies and procedures within the University.
• He/She will make request or initiate a need within the unit after being notified by any arm of the university.
• Control and monitor of ICT resources for teaching, learning and research.
• Promote the harmonization of ICT developments and activities engaged by all units of the University.
• Identify and promote areas of collaboration with other institutions to advance the use of ICT for teaching, learning and research.
• Carry out any other functions assigned to it by the VC.
